  • FUEL PUMP IN SMITHSONIAN MUSEUM: A news clipping from Sept. 28, 1952. It covers the donation of the first fuel pump from AC Spark Plug Division to the Smithsonian Museum. It’s believed that the first mechanical pumps were used on 29 Buicks.

  • Master Front Motor Mount Dimensions (trim length)
  • Original Water Return Pipe - confirming that it was orig. painted black after being manufactured and then painted engine green over the black after being installed on the engine (confirmed by the green overspray on the gen., fan and oil lines).
  • Stamp on top of very original valve cover. "Wheeling Steel Corporation, Portsmouth, VA". Likely, this is the valve cover steel (and possibly the actual valve cover, too) manufacturer.
